Allotment project

Growing, harvesting and cooking as a therapeutic activity

DATUS allotment project based in Northfield is a chance to meet others in recovery and benefit from a therapeutic activity. Attendees can learn to grow fruit and vegetables, take home fresh produce and learn cooking skills by harvesting and preparing food on-site.

I’d been in the house just reclusive beforehand so it was a big step but I found it really useful just to be with other people and to be around nature as well.
